The feng shui wealth vase is one of the oldest abundance cures. It is considered an ancient cure brought from India to China many centuries ago.
The making of feng shui wealth vase is still a tradition in many Tibetan Buddhist temples (and a sacred offering). This used to be something only the noblest and wealthiest of families of China were privy to.
Feng shui wealth vase is used to attract and strengthen the flow of prosperity and wealth energy in our home.
How to Make Wealth Vase
- To make a wealth vase, first thing you need to have is the suitable vase. The neck of the vase should be smaller than its body, and there must be a cover. Next, you need to gather all the necessary and useful “ingredients” to be placed inside the vase.
- Make sure to first fill the vase with your clear and good intent for wealth. You can have more than one wealth vase, and of any size you want.
- First thing to store inside the vase is the soil (should be at the bottom). The soil should also come or given to you from a wealthy friend. Some feng shui masters suggest that check your friend’s family background before taking their soil, the soil should be from a wealthy, healthy and harmony family so that you will have a healthy, good chi and wealthy soil inside your vase as the foundation. Soil that is given to you is very lucky but DO NOT STEAL THE SOIL, that will bring you bad luck. Remember, feng shui is based on symbolism and intent.
- After that, add a layer of uncooked dry rice and dry beans to symbolize self sufficiency and abundant of food in your household.
- Place the God of Wealth inside (can be any God you feel an affinity with), make sure he or she is sitting in the center of the vase. Do remember also the direction he/she is facing before you close your vase.
- Other essential ingredients are (you dont have to use all of them, just get what you can find and what is most necessary):
Gold ingots and gold bars (symbols of wealth), 9 emperor coins (for wealth under all circumstances), 3 brass coins tied with red string (for protecting the current wealth), I-ching coins to pacify obstacles, lock coin to safeguard your wealth, faux diamonds, assorted crystal chips (signifying wealth from the earth), five Gem Globes (signifying wealth from all directions), semi-precious stones, wish-fulfilling jewels to make your aspirations manifest, 6 smooth crystal balls for harmony, a Ru Yi (signifying power and management of the household), 5 types of food to signify abundance, paper money and cash given to you by a rich person. Some feng shui masters also suggest putting in pictures that symbolizes wealth such as cars, mansions, etc.
- When you are done with all your storing, cover the vase with five colored cotton cloth (signifying all the five elements) and then tie it tight with five strings of five colors. These clothes should be placed in a specific color order: start from blue, green, red, yellow and white on top. The white cloth shuold be covering all the others and tied to the vase.
- The wealth vase is not meant to be displayed openly. You should always place the vase out of sight in a respectful manner. The best areas should be in the Southeast Bagua area or your personal wealth direction. Keep the vase facing inwards, never outwards.
- The feng shui wealth vase is cleaned only on the outside from time to time (traditionally, people clean it before the Chinese New Year). After the feng shui wealth vase is created, then it is not supposed to be open again. If the vase is open, it would loose its magic.
