Below you will find a Baby Gender Chart that was discovered by a Chinese Scientist in an ancient tomb in China. It was buried in a royal tomb near Beijing more than 700 years ago. The original chart is kept and displayed in the Beijing Institude of Science. This baby gender predictor is based on the Chinese Lunar Calendar, so in order to use it you have to use your Chinese lunar age.

To predict the gender of your baby, you have to know the mother’s age at the time of conception as well as the month of conception. For example, if you get pregnant on the month of February at the age of 26 (both the age and the month have to be based on the Chinese Lunar Calendar) then you have to select February and 26 in the chart below to find the gender of your baby.

Rumors have it that this baby gender prediction chart is over 90% accurate when used correctly. However, according to some sources, the accuracy rate of this gender prediction is less than 75%.

Some Facts About Baby Gender

Baby Gender PredictionIn ancient China, this chart has been used as a baby gender predictor where gender of the babies is a concern. Since long time ago in China, the government has been particular about bringing up boys in the country. Boys have always been preferred because they are not only regarded as more superior than women but also because the country needed boys to be trained to become soldiers.

China faces consequences of its One-Child policy as well as the traditional preference for baby boys. The policy that was introduced in 1979 attempts to limit families to have only a single child. This act has also been known as the largest population control effort in human history. Since baby boys are traditionally preferred in China, the policy has been a disaster for baby girls. Its been reported that more than 100,000 baby girls are abandoned, aborted or hidden every year.

China is one of the world’s oldest civilizations, it has more than 4,000 years of history and culture. Now, the country is booming. With over a billion people, China has the world’s largest population. When combined with a centuries-old preference for boys, this can also means that untold thousands of Chinese girls are being abandoned, aborted or hidden every year. Some are even killed. The countryside is where these abandoned girls are believed to come from.

Most couples feel that they must have a boy. This is because boys traditionally carry on the family name, regarded as more superior than women, provide labour and will stay with their parents in the old ages. Today, boys vastly outnumber girls in China. The growing imbalance of boys to girls is becoming a serious problem and its expected to get worse. It is predicted that there will up to 35 – 45 million more men than women by the year of 2020.
