March 21, the spring equinox, is the beginning of the new zodiacal year and the first zodiac sign, Aries, is therefore that of new beginnings. As the first sign in the zodiac, and corresponding with the first day of spring, Aries is a doer and shaker, boldly moving forward into new territory. The Arian is a pioneer both in action and thought, a lover of freedom and very open to new ideas. They like to try new things, go to new places and start new projects.
